Desde julho de 2024, a Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade de Ribeirão Preto (FEARP) abriga um Centro de Ciência para o Desenvolvimento (CCD) financiado pela Fapesp. Os CCDs foram criados com o propósito de articular esforços entre instituições de pesquisa, universidades, órgãos governamentais, empresas e organizações da sociedade civil. Seu objetivo é transformar conhecimento científico em soluções concretas que gerem impacto social, tecnológico e econômico.
Na FEARP, o centro recebeu o nome de Centro Multidisciplinar de Estratégia, Pesquisa e Inovação da Procuradoria Geral do Estado de São Paulo (CeMEPI-PGE) e reúne docentes, pesquisadores e bolsistas da FEARP. O CeMEPI-PGE desenvolverá, ao longo de cinco anos, um trabalho multidisciplinar e inovador, que pretende definir os custos da tramitação de processos judiciais, passando pelo estudo da estrutura organizacional da Procuradoria e por análises jurimétricas.
Nos dias 18 e 19 de setembro, uma comitiva formada por 10 professores e pesquisadores do Centro Multidisciplinar de Estratégia, Pesquisa e Inovação da Procuradoria Geral do Estado de São Paulo (CeMEPI-PGE) – iniciativa fomentada pela FAPESP – esteve reunida na sede da PGE-SP para apresentar avanços e alinhar as próximas etapas do projeto de pesquisa em desenvolvimento.
No dia 18/09, a professora Luciana Romano Morilas apresentou à equipe da PGE os objetivos e principais desafios do Centro, em encontro que contou com a presença da procuradora geral do Estado, Dra. Inês dos Santos Coimbra, do Subprocurador Geral do Contencioso, Dr. Bruno Lopes Megna, além dos procuradores Dr. Rodrigo Lemos Curado e Dra. Rebecca Corrêa Porto Freitas. A reunião marcou um importante momento de integração entre os pesquisadores e os membros da Procuradoria, possibilitando a discussão de resultados já alcançados e a definição de novas frentes de atuação.
No dia seguinte, 19/09, a professora Silvia Ines Dallavalle de Pádua, acompanhada pelos bolsistas Luiz Ricardo Brito Ribeiro e Victor Serrani Valera, coordenou o workshop “Priorização de Processos Organizacionais”, que contou com intensa participação de procuradores e servidores. O encontro permitiu estabelecer critérios para definir os processos elegíveis à primeira etapa de mapeamento, fundamental para a modernização da atuação da PGE.
Também participaram das reuniões os professores Ildeberto Aparecido Rodello (FEA-RP), Ivan César Ribeiro (Unifesp) e Maria Paula Costa Bertran (FDRP/USP), além dos bolsistas Julia Navarro Perioto, Emanuele Seicenti de Brito, Maurílio Benite e Diego de Castro Rodrigues.
